Morris Family Services President
Nathan proudly attended Owensboro Catholic High School. After graduating, Nathan moved to High Point, NC where he began performing music, releasing multiple albums and earning the 2010 Indie Charts Independent Artist of the Year Award.
In 2010, Nathan began working at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, the home his father-in-law has operated the last 55 years, where he served as General Manager. Megan had grown up in the funeral home. She began working at the family's home at a youthful age and quickly took hold of this life of service. Both attended the University of Kentucky and mortuary schools, Mid-America and Arapahoe, respectively.
After marrying in 2012, Megan and Nathan saw a great need in the funeral profession, exemplary care. All are deserving of such care, no matter who they are or the backgrounds from which they had come. In 2015, they formed Morris Family Homes, which is devoted to acquiring and continuing to implement the exceptional service communities in Kentucky and Indiana have grown to expect from the most incredible of people. "We are here. We are invested in the community. We realize your family deserves the absolute best and will never settle for anything less."
Each morning, Nathan draws strength and inspiration from his sense of purpose to serve families during life's toughest moments. Knowing that what he does on a daily basis matters, only enforces his sense of purpose.
Both Nathan and Megan love Owensboro and all that the city has to offer. It is small-town feel, sense of community and family and above all, the people you see and meet every day from different walks of life. Although both are hands on and essential parts of Morris Family Services, Nathan and Megan always make time to spend with their wonderful families and their children Anderson, Everett, Navy, and Bear.
