Sarah truly loves the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life and is honored to be able to continue the legacy of love and compassion in this community.
Having worked in the Hartford community for over 14 years, Sarah is continuously thankful for the love, compassion and appreciation her neighbors have shown her in her role at The Hartford Memorial Funeral Chapel.
A member of Second Baptist Church for 33 years, Sarah is a firm believer in encouragement and listening to others in all situations. This is very important in her process when helping families during difficult times during the monument creation process.
Away from work, Sarah is a proud mother of five wonderful young adults, Grandma to 5 precious grandchildren (#6 on the way!) and loves spending time with her parents and friends. Sarah is also a music lover of college basketball/football and Predators Hockey!

In June of 1966, D.M. Miller and Danny Schapmire co-founded Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, and for 50 years, served exceptionally the many families who called upon them during their greatest times of need.

In Loving Memory
Danny Schapmire was born and raised in Hartford, Kentucky. He graduated from Hartford High School in 1963 and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer having graduated from the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science in Louisville in 1966. In June of 1966 Danny Schapmire co-founded Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford.
They have two sons, Marty Schapmire of Louisville and Chad Schapmire of Nashville and two grandchildren, Lily Grace and Nicholas Martin Schapmire. Danny was very proud of his heritage, the families of Ohio County and the trust placed on his family for more than 50 years. A man who spent a lifetime celebrating Ohio County, is forever celebrated by those who love him.
