Robert ‘Sonny’' Benedict Obituary (1948 - 2015)

Robert A. 'Sonny' Benedict 66 of Glasgow died Friday February 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late Leon Benedict and Faye (Hamilton) Benedict. Mr. Benedict was a US Army veteran, retired from Eaton Axle Corp. in Glasgow and was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his mother Faye Benedict of Glasgow; son Michael Benedict (Jennifer) and granddaughter Emily Benedict of Ft. Walton, FL; 2 sisters Leona Norris (Gary) of Glasgow & Barbara Clayton (Rick) of Brandenburg, KY; 2 nieces Felicia Montgomery (Joe) of Lucas & Marchelle Forish (Dave) of Lexington, KY; sister in law Nancy Page of Glasgow. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Page Benedict; 1 brother Joe Mike Benedict and a niece Sonya Hogan. Funeral services will be Tuesday 1:00pm March 3, 2015 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Military Honors provided by the DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
