Olan L. Worland, 88, of Vincennes, IN went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2023. He was born on May 7, 1934, in Vincennes, IN to the late Raymond D. and Mary T. (Halter) Worland. Olan was a life long farmer and heavy equipment operator for Worland Construction. He was a proud member of the Old Cathedral Catholic Church. Olan was a hard working man but in his free time enjoyed wood working, riding his Kubota, mushroom hunting, mowing his lawn, playing card, watching westerns, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all.\n\nOlan was preceded in death by his parents; wife Lela (Witsman) Worland; sons Mike and Bill Worland; brothers Daniel (Wanda) Worland, Butch (Gloria) Worland, James (Loretta) Worland, Paul (Marjorie) Worland, Bob (Marilyn) Worland; sister Helen (Wayne) McMullen; great-grandson Eli Newberry.\n\nHe is survived by his companion, of 13 years, Jane (Bloebaum) Worland; children Debbie Worland, Lloyd (Kim) Worland, Jeff (Donna) Worland; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; siblings Rose Marie (Marvin) Korman, Betty (George) Vash, Steve (Ann) Worland, Jerry (Janet) Worland; and many nieces and nephews.\n\nGoodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Mr. Worland. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 524 Broadway St. from 3-6pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, April 24, 2023, at Old Cathedral Church at 10am with burial at St. Thomas Cemetery immediately following.
