Joseph "Joe" Lee Shaw Obituary (1942 - 2022)

Joseph “Joe” Lee Shaw, 80, of Glasgow, Kentucky died Sunday, December 4, 2022, in Barren County. He was born November 20, 1942, in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late S. Bratton and Velma Delk Shaw. Joseph worked at Glasgow Glass Company, Ray Glass Company, and was a lifelong farmer. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, whom he married on December 16, 1960, Sarah Shaw; one son, Alan Lee Shaw (Jennifer); two daughters, Sondra Lou Shaw and Sandra Kay Shaw Ramsey (Tearle); one very special granddaughter, Marichen Ann Craddock (Jared); four brothers-in-law, Numia Smith, James Tommy Smith (Jane), Larry Smith, Terry Smith (Melissa); six sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Johnson (Cloyd), Violet Davis (Roy), Carolyn Harper, Janie Shaw, Judy Young (Charles), Polly Spillman (Richard); one step grandson, Jason Fisher (Annette); one step great granddaughter, Emma Fisher; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Osco and Preal Shaw, Rosia and Lattie Delk, and his only sibling, Judy Kay Shaw Gosnell. The funeral service for Mr. Shaw will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 7th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F. Crow & Son is honored to be entrusted in the care of Mr. Shaw.
