Jennifer Poehlein, 64, passed away on October 31, 2022 in Jasper.\nShe was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 3, 1958, to Thomas and Mabel (Oldham) Holmes.\nA homemaker, Jennifer enjoyed doing any kind of craft projects, especially crochet, quilts, painting and coloring. She loved animals and her family is thankful that she gave herself to God the day before she died.\nSurviving are her children, Amanda Dyer (Randy James), Cannelton, Julie Persinger (Heath), Cannelton, Glenn Dyer (Danielle), Huntingburg and Raymond Rowzee, Huntingburg; 11 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sister, Shirley Kimpton, Indianapolis and brother, Avery Holmes, Arkansas. Her siblings, Fern Poehlein, Thomas Earl Holmes, Marvin Holmes, Mary Ann Hartmier, James Holmes and Charles Holmes, preceded her in death.\nFuneral services will be held at 12:00 PM CDT on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday. Bro. Larry Sosh will officiate.\nMemorial contributions may be made to the family to help purchase Jennifer’s monument.\nHuber Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with Jennifer’s care.
